Minor girl raped in capital

A six years old baby was allegedly raped in the capital’s Lalbagh area on Saturday.

Police arrested Fuyad Hossain, 25, a field worker of Sajeda Foundation.
Admitting the incident, Inspector Moniruzzaman, officer-in-charge of Lalbagh Police Station said, Kamrul Islam, father of the baby girl, filed a rape case against Fuyad.
 According to the police source, the girl was raped at a house at Shaheednagar in the area on Saturday noon.
Later Sub-Inspector Zahirul Islam rescued the victim and admitted her to the One Stop Crisis Centre (OSCC) of the Dhaka Medical College Hospital 
Dr Bilkis Akter, coordinator of the One Stop Crisis Centre (OSCC)  said details will be known after getting the medical test result.
