Free-Internet facilities will make Bangladesh digital

Sir,
It is heartening to note that Bangladesh is moving forward on the highway of development. This journey is aimed at fulfilling the targets set by the government to make this
country digital and upgrading the same to a middle income one by 2021.
The government has undertaken a number of mega projects as well as pilot programmes which are being implemented. As the government declared that Bangladesh would be made a digital country to keep it on the right track of development, so it should have prepared to face the upcoming challenges in terms of technology. To have a sustainable development and infrastructural advancement it badly needs enormous tech-based initiatives.
The pre-requisite of development of a country is to include people from all walks of life in the development activities but it will be only possible when people will be connected with the internet and will make sure the all digital assistance. So firstly government needs  to put emphasis  on digitalization of all ministries, government offices, semi-government offices, all private offices, NGOs, autonomous institutions, research institutions, schools, colleges, universities, shopping malls and tourist spots through establishing the free-broad band internet connection with wifi facilities,  provide training and workshops for making IT professionals, provide free  mobile internet facilities by the five major mobile phone operators as we have reached around 13 crore people through mobile.
Now it is the high time to provide free-internet facilities, 4G facilities, availability of mobile assistance which will boost our economy through e-business, e-commerce, e-learning, e-governance, e-documentation as well as bring technological revolution. So, government should strongly emphasize on free-internet facilities in the shortest possible time.
