The Judicial Magistrate Court in Narayanganj yesterday fixed September 2 for next hearing in Tanvir Mohammad Twaki killing case.
Among the arrested five accused in the case, four appeared in the court while another accused remained absent.
Of them, two were produced from jail while two others were on bail, court sub-inspector Golam Hossain confirmed.
Rapid Action Battalion arrested Saheh Ahemed Simanto, Yusuf Hossain Liton, Rifat Bin Osman, Tayeb Uddin Jaki and Shawkat Hossain Bhromor.
Of the five accused, Yusuf Hossain Liton and Shawkat Hossain Bhromor made confessional statement before the court. But Bhromor was not present in the court as he is absconding after attainting bail.
Meritorious student Tanvir Mohammad Twaki,17, went missing on March 6, 2013 and police found his body on March 10, 2013 in a canal of the river Shitalakhya.
At that night, Twaki’s father had filed a case with Narayanganj sadar model police against unknown criminals.
