The Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) has relieved a director of Mercantile Bank Limited and chairman of Aman Group Foundation of graft charges, reports BSS.
The Commission gave the clean chit to Mercantile Bank director Aman Ullah through an official notice issued by ACC secretary Maksudul Hasan Khan recently.
Earlier, the ACC received a graft allegation that Aman Ullah swindled out nearly Tk 2 crore from a bank showing false information and the national anti-graft body launched a probe into the accusation in 2014, ACC sources said.
After conducting an inquiry against him, they said, the ACC did not find his involvement in any loan irregularity.
