Bangladesh have been pitted in Group B along with host India and Afghanistan while Nepal, Sri Lanka, the Maldives and Bhutan have been drawn in Group A in the SAFF Women's Championship scheduled to be held from December 26 to January 4 in Siliguri in the Indian state of West Bengal, reports UNB.
The draw ceremony was held on Thursday afternoon at conference room of Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) in presence of SAFF president Kazi M Salahuddin, ho is also the president of Bangladesh Football Federation.
Apart from host India, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, The Maldives, Nepal, and Sri Lanka will participate in the championship, organised by South Asian Football Federation (SAFF).
