RAJUK demolishes illegal structures

The Rajdhani Unnayan Kartipakkha (RAJUK), in a special drive, yesterday demolished several illegal city structures at different parts of the city and vowed to continue the drive in future to force all to go by the law, reports BSS.
The illegal structures demolished included- unauthorized chinese restaurants, boundary walls encroaching thoroughfares, shops built at parking places and private ramps built over footpaths in front of several houses, a press release said here.
RAJUK said special magistrates carried out the drive in city's Mirpur, Monipur, Mohammadpur, Banani and Banasri areas, with assistance from law enforcement agencies as well as members from concerned other organisations.
