Man killed by ‘brother’ in Nawabganj

Keraniganj: A man died after he was hit by his younger brother with a stick over family feud at Tashullya village in Nawabganj upazila on the outskirts of the capital on Wednesday, reports UNB. Police said an altercation took place between Falan Biswas, 50, and Pabitra Biswas, 35, sons of Hiralal Biswash of the village, over the ownership of a piece of land in the morning. At one stage, Pabitra hit Falan with a bamboo stick, leaving him unconscious. Later, Falan was taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where doctors declared him dead.
