Man beaten to death in Narail

A man was killed by rivals at Char Sarulia village in Lohagara upazila yesterday morning and in the ensuing clash 15 persons were injured. The deceased was identified as Asaduzzaman Mollah, 40. OC  of Lohagara police  said there had been a longstanding conflict between Azibar Mollah group and Jamal Sheikh group over establishing supremacy in the village. Asaduzzaman, a man of Azibar Mollah group, came under attack when he went out of home for work in the morning. The rival group beat him mercilessly, leaving him dead on the spot.  After that a fierce clash ensued between the two groups leaving at least 15 people on both sides injured.
