Disaster Management and Relief Minister Mofazzal Hossain Chowdhury Maya yesterday said the government of Bangladesh has taken steps to involve women in politics, reports BSS.
“Equal participation in politics is one of the reflections of women empowerment,” he said speaking as the chief guest at a seminar on the closing day of a two-day regional conference of women in South Asia at CIRDAP auditorium in the city. Non-government organisation Anando organised the conference.
