Another accused held

Police arrested one more accused early yesterday in the killing of a man and his three sons at Bashati village in Nandail upazila on Friday.
The arrestee -- Hiran Mia, 22, son of Kajal Mia, a resident of Bashati village in Nandail upazila, -- was produced before a court yesterday afternoon.
A team of Mymensingh DB police with the help of BGB arrested Hiran in the morning from Bishnupur village in Bijoynagar upazila of Brahmanbaria distdirct.
Hiran is the nephew of Lal Mia, prime accused of the case, said Murad Ali Sheikh, sub-inspector of Nandail police station, also investigation officer (IO) of the case.
In primary interrogation, Hiran confessed his involvement to the killing, said the IO.
Earlier on Sunday, police arrested two suspected accused Ali Akbar, 55, a retired bank officer; Harun-or-Rashid, 38, in this connection from Nandail upazila of Mymensingh.
Police also arrested another accused -- Khokon Mia, 35, -- on Sunday.
On Friday night, Billal Hossain and three of his sons Farid, 28, and Himel, 16, and Pavel, 18, were stabbed to death by his elder brother Lal Mia and his hired goons over the ownership of a piece of land at Bashati village.
