108 Swadhin Bangla Betar artistes get FF recognition

The government has recognised 108 artistes of Swadhin Bangla Betar Kendra and cultural organisations which were formed during the Liberation War as freedom fighters, reports UNB.
The Liberation War Affairs Ministry published the gazette notification in this regard yesterday. Swadhin Bangla Betar Kendra was the radio broadcasting centre of Bengali nationalist forces during the Liberation War in 1971. It had played a vital role in boosting the morale of Bangladeshis during the war.
