BPL franchisee teams tried to surge their performance by bringing in local and foreign players at their last-ditch efforts.
Rangpur Riders confirmed the services of Pakistan all-rounder Anwar Ali and South Africa all-rounder David Miller to continue their surge in the next two phases of the BPL-4.
The Riders already signed their deals with both players-Anwar Ali and David Miller. Of them, Ali is scheduled to arrive in Chittagong from Dubai and expected to play the match against Barisal Bulls. He will play all the next matches for Riders.
Miller on the other hand will join the team at Chittagong phase. He is available for Riders for the next six matches.
It is learnt from Riders media manager that the team did 80 percent deal with Australian all-rounder Shane Watson for the next four matches of the Dhaka phase.
On the other hand, Rajshahi Kings took batsman Zunaid Siddique, Chittagong Vikings roped in Mahmudul Hasan Limon, while Comilla Victorians took Shahdat Hossain Rajib and Barisal Bulls fetched Jeevan Mendis. All the players did their practice with the team at different grounds of the port city.
Few of them will be seen to perform in the next match or matches in Chittagong for their respective team.
In fact, Shahdat had joined Comilla camp last week but he had to wait for the BCB permission since he was just acquitted from torturing a housemaid case.
