Benapole: Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) and police in separate drives arrested three alleged criminals from separate places in Jessore town early yesterday, reports UNB.
The arrestees were identified as Yeasir Arafat alias Boma Arafat, Tablet Sohel, and Apon alias Shahi, all residents of Mollapara Amtala of the town.
Police said tipped of, a team of police of Kotwali Model Police Station led by its Sub-inspector Amir Hossain conducted a drive in Bandari Beel Mathpara area and arrested Arafat around 12.30am.
The law enforcer also recovered one pistol and one round of bullet from his possession.
In another drive, RAB members arrested Tablet Sohel and Apon from Bejpara TB Clinic area of the town around 1.30am.
The arrestees were wanted in several cases, including robbery and snatching, police said.
