Riyad, Bijoy recalled to Bangladesh ODI squad

Anamul Haque Bijoy and Mahmudullah Riyad returned to the squad as Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) selection panel announced a 14-member team for the first two ODIs of the three-match series against South Africa yesterday.
Mominul Haque, Rony Talukdar and injured fast bowler Taskin Ahmed made the way for the duos who recovered from the respective injuries and fit to play, according to the physio.
Riyad had fractured his left index finger in June ahead of the India series and was out for more than a month. Bijoy was out after injuring his right shoulder during the World Cup match against Scotland on March 5.
Chief selector Faruque Ahmed said he was dropped for the sake of combination. According to Faruque, Litton Das was better choice given his while Bijoy is in form which was the reason behind excluding Rony.
