Mustafiz to undergo shoulder scan today

Bangladesh pace prodigy Mustafizur Rahman’s first scanning on his left-shoulder will perform at Apollo Hospital today. In this regard, Bangladesh team’s physio Baijadul Islam said that this will be the first scanning after his surgical operation in London.
The surgical operation on Mustafiz’s injured left-shoulder was performed by distinguished shoulder surgeon Andrew Wallace at Bupa Cromwell Hospital in the south Kensington of London on August 11. “It is a routine check-up but it is the first scanning after his surgical operation in London. Last two weeks he bowled. They did the scanning to know the development of his shoulder,” said Baijadul Islam.
Mustafizur suffered the injury during his stint with English County Club Sussex. He missed the series against Afghanistan and England and thereafter missed the domestic T20 tournament BPL-4. But he remains with his old franchise Dhaka Dynamites as the ambassador of the team.
The Cutter Master as he is adorable called is included in the New Zealand-bound Bangladesh team.
 He successfully passed two phase of his rehabilitation. Mustafiz, who dubbed ‘Fizz’ to international media, has been practicing with the ball since November 1.  
It is learnt that at the same day the pacer will head to Satkhira, where he will stay with his family for a week. His final assessment is scheduled to take place on November 22.
