Charges against 3 Moulvibazar ‘razakars’ finalised

The investigation agency of the International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) has finalised five specific charges of crimes against humanity against three alleged Razakars of Borolekha upazila in Moulvibazar district.
The three accused are Abdul Aziz alias Habul, 63, of Pakhiala village and Abdul Mannan, 64, of Taradaram village and absconding accused Abdul Matin, of the upazila, reports UNB. 
“We have brought five charges against them. We would submit the 89-page investigation report to the prosecution yesterday,” said Mohammad Abdul Hannan Khan, chief-coordinator of the ICT investigation agency at a press conference held at its Dhanmondi office yesterday morning. The investigation of the case started on October 16, 2014. Later police arrested Habul and Mannan from the district following a warrant issued by the ICT on March 1 last. 
The investigation report found their involvement in incidents of murder, torture, arson, looting and rape committed during the Liberation War of 1971.
