State Minister for Home Affairs Asaduzzman Khan Kamal yesterday recognised that Bangladesh is being used as the transit for human trafficking in recent years, reports UNB.
“This not untrue that human trafficking is being carried out from Bangladesh to various countries,” he said this in Parliament while responding to a written question from Awami League MP Manunur Rashid Khan (Noakhali-3).
Replying to a supplementary question from independent MP Rustam Ali Farazi, the minister said the government is taking actions against human traffickers after identifying the syndicates.
