Bangladesh Standard and Testing Institute (BSTI) certificates will be available online from now on to save expenditures and time of industrial entrepreneurs, reports BSS.
This was made public at a function in the capital to inaugurate automation of certificate marks (CM) to offer BSTI certificate in digital system, reports BSS.
Industries Minister Amir Hossain Amu formally inaugurated the CM automation as chief guest at a function at Krishibid Institution Auditorium, said an official release.
The BSTI implemented CM automation with the cooperation of International Finance Corporation (IFC), a World Bank concern.
Presided over by BSTI Director General Iqramul Huq, the function was addressed by Senior Secretary of Industries Ministry M Mosharraf Hossain, World Bank economist M Masrur Reaz, Sinha Bangladesh Limited Managing Director Engineer A Matin and BSTI Director (CM) Rezaul Karim.
