The first executive council conference of Directors Guild, an organisation of television play directors in the country, will be held through an elaborated programme on December 2. The day-long event, along with cultural programmes, will be held from 9am to 10pm on the premises of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy in the capitals Segun Bagicha area.
To disclose detailed information about the council, a press conference was held at the seminar hall of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy yesterday, where Directors Guild president Gazi Rakayt and general secretary SA Haque Alik were present, among others.
SA Haque Alik said, The council will be attended by many celebrity personalities. In the cultural segment, actress-dancer Nadia, along with her troupe will present a dance performance. Besides, many television and music artistes will take part in the several segments.
Besides, performance of Nogor Baul-famed singer James will be a special attraction at the council of Directors Guild.
To make the council successful, the organisers decided to call off the shooting of their tele-dramas and telefilms on December 2.
