ADHUNIK (Bengali acronym for We Prevent Smoking), the national anti-tobacco organisation, in a message deeply condoled the death of the national professor Dr MR Khan who breathed his last on Saturday afternoon, reports UNB.
ADHUNIK office bearers prayed for the salvation of the departed soul and expressed heartfelt sympathy with the members of his bereaved family so that they have the forbearance to withstand the irreparable loss.
The press release added Dr MR Khan, the founder treasurer of ADHUNIK, was closely associated with the organisation and actively took part in its deliberations.
After the demise of ADHUNIK’s founder president national professor Dr Nurul Islam in 2013, Dr MR Khan held the organisation together and became its principal motivating force breathing a renewed sense of purpose and enthusiasm into its cause.
