Man stabbed dead in Barguna
Barguna: A farmer was stabbed to death by criminals at Urbunia village in Sadar upazila on Sunday.The deceased was identified as Idris Ali, 50, a resident of the village.
Riaz Hossain, officer-in-charge of Sadar Police Station, said criminals stabbed him indiscriminately at the village around 6pm, leaving him dead on the spot. On information police recovered the body and sent it to Barguna Sadar Hospital for autopsy.Family members of the victim alleged that Idris might have been killed by rivals over a land related dispute.
