Arms, ammo recovered in C’nawabganj

OUR CORRESPONDENT, Chapainawabganj

Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) recovered two pistols, two magazines, seven rounds of bullet and 252 bottles of phensidyl from Kasiabari village under Daipukuria union of Shibganj upazila early yesterday.
Commanding Officer of 9-battalion of BGB Lieutenant Colonnel SM Abul Ehsan said acting on a tip-off, a patrol team of BGB raided the house at around 3.30 am and found the arms and ammunition by digging the ground in the kitchen of the house.
Later, BGB recovered the phensidyl from a truck near the house.
