Bangladesh iconic all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan tipped the victory against England as the biggest achievement in Test, stating that they are confident of maintaining their winning modes in days to come that they have been doing for the last two and-a-half years.

“It is just beginning. Such days will also come more ahead,” said Shakib Al Hasan yesterday.
Bangladesh had laid their deep confidence in winning the Test in Chittagong. Thereafter, they showed that grits lifting the historic victory in Dhaka Test. The country’s premier all-rounder said that they want to win more victories in future.
“We did not win too many matches in Test. It is a big matter of winning against England. For this, we all feel proud of it. This is the biggest victory of Bangladesh,” Shakib told reporters while he signed a deal with Linc Pens as its new brand ambassador.
Bangladesh will tour to New Zealand in the third week of December to play three one day internationals, three T20 Internationals and two-match Test series. Before going to New Zealand, Tigers will hold a two-week-long conditioning camp in Australia with the participation of the 22-member preliminary squad.
The ace all-rounder said that they are not feared to play at overseas condition as they made their habituation to play there.
“We used to fear to go in foreign tour how we do fare at this condition. Our confidence has been increased much after playing in World Cup Down Under. Pacers did very well. We have been doing well in both pace and spin departments. Hopefully better things will be seen,” the Magura-born lad said.
Before traveling in New Zealand, Bangladesh will hold a conditioning camp in Australia, where Tigers will play two practice matches against defending champions of BigBash Syndey and Sydney Sixers on December 14 and 16 respectively.
“The condition in New Zealand will not be easier for us. So, better preparation should be done before the series. Our conditioning camp in Australia will give us confidence during the New Zealand tour. Hopefully we could do our better preparation for the Black Caps,” the 29-year-old all-rounder said.
