BCL man beaten up

An unidentified gang on Friday night beat up an activist of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) of Rajshahi University (RU) unit near Station Bazar area of the university. He was admitted to the university medical centre with severe injuries.

He was identified as Tawhid Alam Pital, a 4th year student of English department, son of advocate Amirul Islam of Bagaerhat district.  Sources said, a gang, wearing masks, severely beat up the BCL activists while going to Station Bazar.
