Attack on Hindus protested

Leader and activists of Bangladesh Chhatra Union (BCU), Rajshahi University (RU) unit protested the violent attacks on Hundu community and their residence in Nasirnagar of Brahmanbaria and other places of the country.
Protesting the incident about hundreds Bangladesh Chhatra Union (BCU) men formed a human chain programme in front of university senate building on Saturday at 11.00am.
Condemning the incident speakers said Bangladesh is a secular country.
But in this country we saw a sectarian attack on a minor community at Ramu few years ago.
The brutal attacks again repeated while it occurred at Nasirnagar of Brahmanbaria distrcit on Hindu community recently.
They criticised the leaders and activists of ruling party for their patronising behind the attack at there.
Chhatra Union leaders condemned the Fisheries Minister Sayedul Haque for his derogatory comments on the minority people.
Besides, they demanded to bring the out under the trial to the government officials in Brahmanbaria particularly Nasirnagar Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) for his failure to control the situation.
Bangladesh Chhatra Union (BCU), Rajshahi University (RU) unit president Minhazul abedin, Biplobi Chhatra Moitree president Pradip Mardy, socialist Student front general secretary Tomashree Das and Mrinmoy Kumar spoke on the post human chain programme.
