The Robi Yonder Music app fulfilled the dreams of four lucky fans of the legendary rock band, Scorpions, by giving them the once in a lifetime opportunity to meet the band in person and enjoy their 50 years celebration concert in Malaysia recently.
Waliullah Shahan Kabondho, Abidur Rahman, Rusafa Ruhiny, and Saif Uz Zaman were the lucky Bangladeshis who enjoyed this historic concert from the front row.
The concert in Malaysia is to celebrate the German hard rockers’ 18th studio album- Return to Forever, which also coincides the 50th anniversary of Scorpions’ formation as a band.
The band’s guitarist and founder, the 66-year-old Rudolf Schenker told Rolling Stone magazine, “When I started the band 50 years ago, I knew four or five people who were playing rock music together and touring the world and making friends everywhere. I said, ‘I want to do the same thing.’ I wanted to have people around me who were great musicians, but also people I could build friendship with.”
Imrul Karim, Country Manager of Yonder Music Bangladesh added “Getting to see your favourite band live in a concert is a feeling that cannot be compared to anything else in the world – I have had this experience with some of my favourite bands, and it gives me great pleasure to be able to fulfil a dream like this for other music lovers out there. Yonder Music is here to stay, and this is the first of many such opportunities to come!”
