Mousumi’s birthday today

Today is the birthday of popular heroine of Dhaka film industry, Mousumi. Before her involvement in the film, her birthdays were celebrated in a special manner from her family. And after stepping into the film industry, the speciality of her birthday has got different dimension with the unconditional love and warm care of her fans and viewers. But this time around, Mousumi is not celebrating her birthday. DhakaLive has news that she will spend a usual day like other days of the month, with the only exception that she has called off her shooting for the day. 

Mousumi said about her birthday, “Considering everything, nothing special will be done today. Even I have no plan centring the day.  I pray to Allah and seek blessings from my fans and viewers that I could stay in good health and fine. I would wish to remain well with all family members, including my husband and children. This is my good fortune that I got a wonderful person with beautiful mind as my husband. I am extremely lucky that I have two beloved children like Fardin and Faizah. I find my peace in them.”
However, Mousumi is the three-time National Film Award-winning actress. The prestigious awards came for the films Nargis Akter’s ‘Meghla Akash’, late filmmaker Chashi Nazrul Islam’s ‘Devdas’ and Mostafa Kamal Raj’s ‘Tarkata’. 
Besides, Mousumi-directed first’s film was ‘Kokhono Megh Kokhono Brishti. The shooting of yet another film titled ‘Shunya Hridoy’ under her direction is now in the final phase. Audience-admired actor Ferdous acts opposite her in the film. She also completed the shooting of Ferdous-directed film ‘Post Master’. 
On the other hand, she has recently acted in a telefilm titled ‘Rubiron’ based on a story written by Professor Abdullah Abu Sayeed.
To note, Mousumi made her film debut with ‘Keyamat Theke Keyamat’, where she paired up with the late Salman Shah. The versatile actress has demonstrated her talents on the various genres of film and earned a reputable position in the industry as well as in the hearts of the audience from all walks of life.
