Five held with crude bombs, jihadist books

Five people were arrested along with crude bombs, sharp weapons and jihadist books from Gozari forest area at Bongram under Gazipur sader upazila early yesterday. 
The arrestees were identified as Tanvirul Haque Sajul, 23, of Kaosilpara area of Bogra sader upazila, Mohammed Harun Mia, 37, of Satuta village under Bazitpur upazila in Kishoregonj, Mohammed Hossain, 29, Deen Islam, 35, and Mohammed Abdul Hannan, 35.  Superintendent of police Harun-or-Rashid said tipped off that a group  of people were holding a clandestine meeting, a special task force of the district police conducted a drive in the area in the dead of night.

Later, the law enforcers arrested the five suspects and recovered some crude bombs, three sharp weapons and a huge number of jihadi books from their possession.
