After scripting historic Test victory against the mighty England, a joyous and jubilant mood was prevailing in both dressing and hotel room of Bangladesh team. All the players, coaching staffs and officials were loudly singing “We shall overcome” at that time. All were bemused with Test victory.

They were congratulated from all quarters after the achievement. Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) also plans to offer a reception in honour of their proud players on November 7.
Bangladesh will next tour to New Zealand, where they will play three ODIs, three T20Is and two-match Test series during the month-long tour.
Capitalising the spirit what they achieved from the victory against England, Bangladesh want to use it against the Black Caps in December. Team manager Khaled Mahmud Sujon shared the same sentiment, stating that you will get the development of Bangladesh cricket in the next away series against New Zealand.
“Though it will be overseas condition, I think, our boys have the ability to adopt the condition. That mentality has been grown up among the players,” said Khaled Mahmud.
“We will try to adopt the condition whatever it is. Along with that, we will try our level best to play better cricket,” Sujon told media before leaving hotel.
“You all see the development of Bangladesh cricket in New Zealand also,” he added. Giving credit to coaching staffs and team management, Sujon said that they played a vital role behind the success of the team last few years.
“We have been playing better cricket last two and half-a-years. It is a great contribution of supporting staffs. I think Bangladesh cricket will go ahead further,” he said
The team manager said that they have already formulated their planning for the next series against New Zealand.
“I work with a better team management and coaching staffs. I fell well when I see their planning. They already finished the next tour planning what we will do there against the hosts. In that aspects, we will hold a training camp in Australia and play some practice matches. Overall, I think our preparation will be better for the tour,” former skipper said.
Sujon, who is director of the board, urges all and said that they should not interfere in works what they engage in.
“There were negative news on social media after the end of the second day Test in Dhaka. We have seen some, who raised question about players’ selection. Why this player is here? Actually it is better to work them what they are in. Let’s team play,” he said.
“Now supporters accept the loss of the team. They support the team in bad days. You will get to see the development in New Zealand.”
Bangladesh made a chance of winning Test in Multan in Pakistan while Sujon led the side.
Recalling the memory of Multan, Sujon said that such victory forget my bitter memory of the past.
“I always want to stay with Bangladesh cricket whether I include in the team or not. Actually I could be Sujon because of cricket,” he said, adding “I can’t forget the loss in Multan. I wept after that loss. But this victory is great. I forget all due to this victory. Today I can’t stop my tears that was tears of joy.”
