RU convocation registration begins Nov 3
RAJSHAHI:  The online registration for the 10th convocation of Rajshahi University (RU) will begin on November 3 and will continue till November 30.
The former students who completed their Masters, MBBS, BDS, MPhil and PhD degrees from 2001 to 2014 (four years) at the Rajshahi University (RU) will be able to attend the convocation ceremony. Detailed information about registration form will be available at the university website www.ru.ac.bd . Earlier the education ministry has fixed the date for this ceremony on December 24 primarily.

BAU admission test results published
MYMENSINGH: The admission test results for the first year honours course under 2016-17 academic session of Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU) in Mymensingh has been published on Sunday.
The admission test result is available at the university website: (www.admission.bau.edu.bd). On Sunday evening, convener of the admission committee Prof Md Abdur Rashid handed over the admission test results to the Vice-Chancellor Prof Md Ali Akbar at his residence.  Admission from the merit list will be held on November 28 from 10am to 5pm.  The admission test for 1200 seats under six faculties was held on November 29.

SAU Language Club study tour held
Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University (SAU) Language Club organised a study tour on Friday, says a press release.
They visited several places, including National Memorial in Savar, Baliati Zamindar Bari  in Manikganj District.  Executive members of the club and a number of students from different faculties of Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University (SAU)  participated in the tour.  Md Abdullah Al Zaber, president and Md Nayeem Ahsan, general secretary of SAU Language Club congratulated all the participants and admired the organising committee for successfully accomplishment of the study tour. 

BUBT extra curriculum festival ends 
The eight-day ‘Extra Curriculum Fest’ aiming to discover the creative work of the students of Bangladesh University of Business and Technology (BUBT) ended on Sunday.
Speakers said such initiatives had played a significant role to motivate the students to extra curriculum activities besides their other academic functions.  BUBT Trustee Board chairman AFM Sarwar Kamal was the chief guest at the closing ceremony while its BUBT proctor and convenor of the Fest Prof Mia Lutfar Rahman was special guest. The occasion was chaired by BUBT Vice-Chancellor Prof Abu Saleh.  AFM Sarwar Kamal said, “Such event is necessary for students besides academic activities. It helps to discover the hidden talents of the students.”     Independent/agency
