Road mishap kills man

RANGPUR: One person was killed and 15 passengers of a bus were injured in two separate road accidents in the district yesterday, police sources said.
An unidentified youth, 26, was killed on the spot after being hit by a speedy truck at Uttam Hajirhat point on the Rangpur-Dhaka highway on the outskirts of the city at 6am yesterday. “Identity of the victim could not be known immediately,” said officer-in-charge (OC) of Kotwali Thana. 
ABM Zahidul Islam adding that the killer truck immediately escaped the scene.
