Police informer murdered

Unidentified miscreants allegedly hacked a police informer to death in Pallabi area of the capital early yesterday.

The deceased was identified as Manik Mia, 45, hailing from Naogon district.
Dadan Fakir, officer-in-charge of Pallabi Police Station said, some assailants attacked Manik with sharp weapons around 4:15am and hacked him, leaving him critically injured.
Later, he was rushed to the Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) where doctors declared him dead at 7:00am. 
The body was kept at hospital morgue.
