Man to die for killing wife

Natore: A court here yesterday convicted a man and sentenced him to death for killing his wife in 2012, reports UNB. The condemned convict was identified as Hasan of Pakuria village in Singra upazila. According to the prosecution, Asma Begum, a garment worker and wife of Hasan was strangulated to death by her husband over family a feud on July 14, 2012. After examining records and witnesses, Natore District and Session Judge Rezaul Karim handed down the verdict.
