Man held with fake Indian rupees

Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested a young man with seven lakh fake Indian rupees from Lahapur Dhoppukur village in Shibganj upazila on Wednesday. The arrestee was identified was Suman Ali, 28, son of Hazrat Ali, a resident of Kolabari area in the upazila. Tipped off, a team of the elite force conducted a drive in the area and arrested Suman in the afternoon. The RAB members also recovered seven lakh fake Indian rupees after searching his body. A case was filed in this connection.
