Amol, seven others into quarterfinals

Top seed Amol Roy of Engineers Recreation Centre and seven other qualified for the quarterfinals of  men’s singles event of Euro Group-UCL National and Inter Club Tennis Tournament.

Amol deposed  Sheikh Hasibul Haque of Satkihira 6-1, 6-3 to book a last eight berth at the National Tennis Complex in the capital yesteday. Delwar Hossain of Rajshahi beat  Munir Hossain of British High Commission  6-4, 6-4 in a hard fought contest match.
Rubel Hossain of BHC outplayed  Selim Hossain of Manikganj 6-3, 6-1, Ishtiaq of BKSP beat  Sajib Pashi of BHC  6-3, 7-6. Alamgir Hossain of Nordic Club beat  Akhtar Hossain of Pabna  6-1, 6-1,   Mamun Bepari of Pabna beat  Arif Hossain of American  3-6, 6-1, 6-3,  Milon Hossain of American Club beat  Farooq Hossain of Elite Club  6-4, 2-6, 6-4,  Dipu Lal of Pabna beat  Hanif Munna of  BCSIR 6-3, 6-2 in the other pre-quarterfinal matches.
