AD Serial!?

Every now and then, I think of watching a good TV serial, but then I see each and everything _ except for the serial itself.
It is so amazing that you can see 20 minutes of ads (commercials) in a 30-minute show! Wow, awesome, amazing, brilliant _ and I really dont know how many more adjectives I could use for the whole thing.
A few nights back, I had the audacity of watching a TV serial and within minutes, I was reminded of my mistake. The ads started after just two minutes and continued for who knows how long. I thought to myself _ this will be one time when I will not let the ads win, I will stick to the channel and see through the whole thing.
Well, the stupid person that I am, I watched whole sections of mind-boggling ads and after eons, the serial came back on. I was tired and happy at the thought that I have beaten the whole system today! I made sure that I had the strength to see the whole episode that day.
Well, boy was I wrong! The show started again, but I could see only a part of the TV screen _ because the rest of it was covered with ads! Ads popping up from right and left, and scrolling across the bottom. Then again I vowed to myself that whatever it is, I will watch the whole show today, come what may. But just after two odd scenes, another barrage of ads began.
Instead of getting annoyed, I was feeling rather scared. I thought to myself that if I see these ads any more, I will loose each and every nerve that connects to my brain. Then the ads suddenly stopped, and the serial started again. I was sure that finally, I have won and I will be able to see the whole episode today.
Well, people say third time is the charm. In my case, the third time definitely made sure that I was an absolute idiot. The ads started pouring back just after one scene.
Now, like an attentive student, I know by heart each and every offer thats being made, each and everything that would make me fair and rich within 24 hours. The ads won, thats for sure.
If you want to do away with some one painfully, then this is the ad perfect way. Shoot a volley of ads at them, repeatedly. Each and every jingle feels like one more dagger right in the heart, and mind.
Please, I whole heartily request every being connected with this all not to mislead people by telling them something and showing them something else. If you like ads so much, put them on your computer and watch by yourself for the entire day _ believe me, no one will object to that!
Earning money is something, but killing brain cells is totally a different thing. We, as viewers, do not have any issue with you guys making money, just dont torture us in the process. Why not bunch the ads together and air them before and after, and at decent intervals during the show?
Stop misleading us, otherwise the day may come when there will be no one to watch your shows. And then those ads will desert you as well. And worse, makers of decent TV fare may follow suit.
