Man held with huge quantity of hemp

Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested an alleged drug peddler along with two maunds and seven kilogram of hemp from Chandrapur village in Jhikargachha upazila of Jessore on Monday night.
The arrestee was identified as Mashiar Munsi, 35, son of late Jainal Munsi of the village.Major Abdullah Al Mehedi, commander of Jessore RAB-6, said tipped off, a team of the elite force conducted a raid at the house of Munsi and arrested him at night.RAB members also recovered two maunds seven kg of hemp after searching his house.A case was filed in this connection.
