Second tier pro-soccer from Saturday

The Marcel Bangladesh Championship League will get underway from October 29 with eight teams participating in the second tier of the Professional Football League.
The opening ceremony will take place at the Bangabandhu National Stadium (BNS) while the matches of the league will be held at the BNS and the Bir Shreshtha Mostafa Kamal Stadium Komlapur.
The logo unveiling and sponsorship signing ceremony of the league were held at the BFF Bhaban on Monday. Abdus Salam Murshedi, chairman of the Professional League and the Additional Director of the Sponsors Group, Walton signed on behalf of their respective party.
On behalf of the co-sponsors - managing director of the Pragoti Insurance Company Munir Islam, senior vice-president of the Premier Bank, Mohammed Yusuf and the head of communication of Eastern Bank Ziaul Karim also attended in the logo unveiling ceremony.
All the representatives from the sponsors company, who addressed on the occasion said that though they are disheartened with the disappointing result against Bhutan. Now they are expecting that BFF will make a fresh start and will try to bring back the football glory.
