Bangladesh set for tour Down Under

Tigers to play two practice matches in Australia on way to New Zealand

The players of the Bangladesh national team could not play the fourth round games of the National Cricket League (NCL) as they will travel for a full tour in New Zealand just after the end of the back-to-back England series and Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) on December 11 or 12. 

BCB tournament committee prepared a schedule so that the national players could play at least one round games of the NCL before leaving for New Zealand in the aftermath of the BPL, which is scheduled to end on December 9 or 10.
But it was scheduled players of Bangladesh are slated to play the fourth round games of the National Cricket League (NCL) before leaving Dhaka for Wellington at the end of  the BPL.  
Before flying for New Zealand, Bangladesh will hold a 10-day conditioning camp in Australia, where they will play two practice matches against Sydney Thunder, the defending champions of the BigBash and Sydney Sixers. 
The Tigers will get down in the field against Sydney Sixers in North Sydney Stadium on December 14 and against Thunder at the Spotless Stadium on December 16. 
The news was confirmed by Cricket Australia (CA) in its website. It was told that Bangladesh will play matches to make their habituation with New Zealand’s wicket and condition, which is akin to Australia.  
Bangladesh will play three one day internationals, three T20 internationals along with two-match Test series against the Black Caps during the tour. They will start their campaign in New Zealand with one day and end the tour with Test.
The visitors will face-off New Zealand in the tour opener at Hagley Oval, Christchurch on December 26.
They will play the second and third ODI matches against the Black Caps at the same venue of Saxton Oval, Nelson on December 29 and 31 respectively. 
On January 3, the tourists will play the first T20against the home side at McLean Park, Napier.
They will play the second and the third T20 matches at the same venue of Bay Oval, Mount Maunganui on January 6 and 8 respectively. 
The first Test between Bangladesh and New Zealand will begin at Basin Reserve, Wellington from January 12-16. Both the teams will lock horns with one another in the second and last Test at Hagley Oval, Christchurch on January 20-24.
