Lighting expo begins in Dhaka Thursday

A three-day exposition related to interior decoration and lighting begins in the city on Thursday, aiming to showcase products and innovations as well as emerging technology and applications for home decoration.

The entire interior-exterior international expo-2016 which introduces the theme “lighting the future” this time will be organised by the Partex Star Group. The expo will be held at the International Convention Centre, Bashundhara.
All products from eminent and leading brands from Bangladesh will be displayed at the event. The visitor could easily come and see the products, ideas and utilities in here. The lighting industry has become dynamic since 1980s. Diversity of home decoration product like; vases, vinyl (PVC) floor, decorative wall tiles, plywood, melamine board, PVC sheet, wooden floor, particle board, jali cutting, planted aquarium, kitchen cabinets and cabinet doors, decorative glasses. 
On another note, LED lights, LED panel lights, CFL lights, room heaters, street lights, lightshade would also be displayed at the expo. 
“This is a pioneering effort to organise an exclusive expo on lighting as we have identified that lighting is an emerging area which is seeing lot of innovations happening be it technology, energy saving or interior decoration,” said Director ASK Trade and Exhibitions Pvt ltd Tipu Sultan Bhuiyan.
“It is the need of the hour and is targeting at manufacturing industries, hotel and hospitality sector besides hospital segment as well. The response has been encouraging and is showing potential for growth in the coming editions,” he also added.
Md.Quamruzzaman, chief operating officer of Partex Star group, Tareq Aziz, deputy general manager, Marketing, Partex Star Group, managing director of Saif Powertec Ltd Ruhul Amin were present at the press conference.          
The exhibition would open from 11am to 7pm for all types of visitors.
