US team meets DU VC
A two-member team led by Professor Matthew L OConnor, Dean of the School of Business of Quinnipiac University, USA called on Dhaka University (DU) Vice-chancellor Prof AAMS Arefin Siddique on Monday at his office of the university.
Other member of the team was Prof Mohammad Elahee, Chair of International Business of the same university.
DU Business Studies Faculty Dean Prof Shibli Rubayat-Ul-Islam and Accounting and Information Systems Department Professor Mahmuda Akter were present, among others.
During the meeting they discussed the possibilities of undertaking joint collaborative academic and research programs on business studies by the University of Dhaka and Quinnipiac University, USA.
RUET admission test today
RAJSHAHI: The admission test for first-year B.Sc Engineering courses in 2016-17 academic session of Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology (RUET) will be held today.
List of eligible candidates for the test was kept visible in notice board of RUET administrative building. It has also been published on www.ruet.ac.bd website, a RUET press release here said on Monday.
The students have been asked not to bring mobile phone, electronics devise and any sort of bags in the examination hall.
This year, a total of 8,020 students will appear in the test for 875 seats in the 14departments. Result of the test will be published by November 6.
