Sayontoni to come up with special song

Popular melodious singer Dolly Sayontoni, who recently returned to the country after spending some time with her daughter in Malaysia, is carrying out the work for her new song. She recently got in touch with talented music director-composer Pritom and will work for the new song with him. Dolly even gave somewhat of a hint as to how her new song will turn out to be. She said, “Before Valentine’s Day, I want to present a song with an element of folk music in it. To bring freshness to the song’s lyrics, tune and music arrangement, I got in touch with Pritom so that he can work on it. After the recording of the song, then the work for its music video will begin. The new year could see me in a new light with new challenges. That is why, I am working on this song with utmost enthusiasm.” She informed that the work for the recording of the song will be completed in two weeks and after that the work for the music video will begin.
Dolly Sayontoni’s last released solo album was titled ‘Ekta Hobi’, which was released under the banner of Soundtek. The album consisted of eight songs and its music direction was done by Nazir Mahmud, Mahmud Jewel  and Feroz. After her first solo album ‘Hai Jubok’ hit the market way back in 1989, Dolly Sayontoni first performed playback for the film ‘Gherao’ directed by Masud Parvez and lent her vocals to five songs for the film.
However, Dolly Sayontoni performed playback last time for the film ‘Hridoy Chhoya Bhalobasa’ directed by Mustafizur Rahman before last Eid-ul-Fitr, while during Eid-ul-Azha, she acted for the first time through the tele-drama ‘Srabon Eshechilo Gaan Howe’ directed by Arif Khan.
Dolly Sayontoni has 15 solo albums to her credit; among these, ‘Kaalia’, ‘Nitaiganje Jomche Mela’ and ‘Ek Jonome’ are prominent albums.
