Police yesterday arrested two alleged wildlife smugglers and recovered a deer skin from their possession at Kalinchi village in Shyamnagar upazila of the district, reports UNB from Satkhira. The arrestees are Yusuf Gazi, son of late Ahad Gazi, and Alamgir Gazi, son of Meher Chand Gazi, of the village. Police said being tipped off that deer skins were being smuggled from a house in the village they conducted a drive at the house of Siddique Gazi at noon and arrested the dup. Police recovered a deer skin from their possession. Officer-in-charge of Shyamnagar Police Station Mustafizaur Rahman said a case was filed against the arrestees.
