Human chain formed demanding charge sheet

The English department teachers and students of Rajshahi University (RU) formed a human chain on the campus demanding immediate submission of chargesheet against the killing of the department’s teacher Professor Dr AFM Rezaul Karim.

The human chain program was formed after mourn rally in front of Sonhoti Mancha of the campus at11am on Sunday.
English department chairman Prof Dr Akter Masud presided over the programme while Rajshai University Teachers Association (RUTA) Prof Dr Shahidullah and department’s teacher, Prof Dr Abdullah Al Mamun , Prof Atar Ali and Prof Shakayat Hossain, Jahurul Islam, among others, spoke. 
RUTA president Prof Dr Shahidullah said, the submission of the case chargesheet is being delayed as the police high-ups are yet to give the investigation officer (IO) a green light, although six months have elapsed after the murder.  
We hope the charge sheet of case will submit without spending time. Otherwise, we will go for trougher movement even works abstention without any break, he added.
