Admission tests of A and J units of CU held

CHITTAGONG:  The admission tests of 'A' and 'J' units of the first-year honours courses under 2016-17 academic session of Chittagong University (CU) were held here yesterday, reports BSS.
The test of 'A Unit' (Science Faculty) was held at 10am while the test of 'J Unit' (Forestry and Environmental Sciences) was held at 2.30pm, said CU deputy registrar (academic) Akbar Hossain.
No incident of expulsion or unfair means was reported on the first day of the admission tests on Sunday, he said adding that a total of 32,773 candidates registered for 551 seats in 'A Unit' while a total of 9019 candidates registered for 92 seats in 'J Unit'. Admission tests of 'G Unit' (Engineering Faculty) will be held at 10am and 'I Unit (Institute of Marine Sciences and Fisheries) at 2.30pm today.
