Ex-UP chairman killed in road crash in Savar

SAVAR: A former union parishad chairman was killed as a bus hit his motorcycle on Nabinagar-Chandra highway in Kabirpur area in Savar yesterday morning, reports UNB.
The deceased was identified as Abdul Kader, 55, former chairman of Baishkanda union of the upazila.
Family sources said a speedy bus hit Kader’s motorcycle while he was returning to Dhamrai, leaving him critically injured. He was rushed to Enam Medical College Hospital where doctors declared him dead.
