One killed in road accident

Chittagong: A pickup van driver was killed and his helper injured in a road accident in Shuklal Hat area under Sitakunda upazila of the Chittagong early Friday, reports BSS.
The deceased was identified as Mohammad Suman, 26, hailed from Nilphamari district. The accident occurred when the pickup van collided head-on with another pickup van in the area, leaving Suman and his helper injured critically, highway police sources said. The injured were admitted to Sitakunda Upazila Health Complex where Suman succumbed to his injuries.
