New UNDP Country Director due today

Newly appointed UNDP Bangladesh Country Director Sudipto Mukerjee arrives in Dhaka today, reports UNB.
The appointment of Mukerjee will boost the ongoing effort of the UNDP’s works with the government and people of Bangladesh, together with development partners, to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGS), said the UNDP.
Mukerjee is an architect and urban planner with over two decades of experience in international development.
