Teachers, students form human chain at RU

The students of Mass Communication and Journalism (MCJ) department of Rajshahi University (RU) formed a human chain demanding the proper investigation into killing of Motaleb Hossain Lipu, in front of the Department  at Saturday morning. 

Rafiq Alam, master’s student of the Dept, moderated the programme while the chairman of the department Dr Prodip Kumar Pandy, Masiur Rahman associate Professor, and some students of the Dept spoke on the occasion. More than 200 students of the department participated on the programme. 
Speakers said “It can’t be ignored that Lipu was murdered. The students of the university are being killed one after another but we don't get proper justice. How many dead body’s are required to stop this killing”. 
The students come on the university with the dream of their parents but they have to go back being dead.
They demanded that killers of Lipu will be brought under punishment as early as possible after proper investigation into the incident. Otherwise, they will continue tougher movement until the justice of Lipu killing will be properly done. After the human chain they also brought out mourning procession on the campus. 
Following the killing, Jhenidah Zila Samity also formed a human chain on the campus.
