Two late goals steered Muktijoddha Sangsad Krira Chakra to blank Soccer Club Feni by 2-0 to finish the first leg of the JB Bangladesh Premier League football yesterday.
Held at the Bangabandhu National Stadium, Sohel Rana and Simon Exeodika scored one goal each for Muktijoddha.
After the win, Muktijoddha made their tally to 18 points from 11 matches, from as many matches Soccer Feni finished the first phase with nine points.
Finally Muktijoddha broke the deadlock on 83rd minute when Sohel Rana successfully took the spot kick after Soccer Feni goalkeeper made a dangerous foul to Ahmed Kolo Musa (1-0).
Simon Ezeodika sealed the victory for Muktijoddha when the Nigerian receiving a long ball in the open space with a sprint went into box and dribbled past goalkeeper to send the ball into open net (2-0).
